The latest trends towards social influencers also do not sit well with me. While financial security would no doubt be greater if I were to simply sell the latest fads, my tendency has always been to critique, ask why and look for the evidence base.
If I were to be recognised as a social influencer in any realm, it would be to influence and encourage the individual to dissent from popular opinion and ask more questions.
Why is a specific body image desirable? What defines health and do the suggestions public health authorities make actually work in real world settings?
