Can’t find a great deal of research with regards to athletic ability as most people are far from healthy when they begin taking it, as such research is a little thin on the ground.
I decided to ask my pharmacist (just out of interest) if he could point me in the direction of any research and he hit me with this leveler. The pharmacist shook his head and said, “Most of the people who get admitted due to blood clots and lung infarction need help walking, and have to stop for breath mid-sentence. You’re 35 years old, extremely fit and will recover well. Don’t worry about loss of full function, just be happy you have function.”
A fair point, slow on the bike is so much better than being dead so I'll enjoy my continued recovery time and take the drugs they've prescribed.
