Maybe in a similar situation I'd of held myself up when slipping on the water (at least I hope it was water outside the restrooms), however, the multiple noises coming from our table, other tables, the music playing, the wind, the road noise and even the kitchen staff talking miles away got a little too much for me. On top of this their was a multitude of smells, the food, various perfumes, air-freshners and red wine. All this added up to a little too much for me and I still have the over stressed headache to prove it.
Its a long shot, but, given the lack of coherence in my brain its a possibility that too much going on led me to be less aware or less stable.
Despite all that, the food wasn't bad, the steak was grass fed from a fairly local butcher and was cooked well. The chips weren't great and it was debatable if they were fresh cut potatoes as advertised. Sadly they were undeniably cooked in the devils oil.
