The other reason is that its helping me know where I am in my week. Trapped at home I'm beginning to loose a sense of what day it actually is. My routine and pattern (very important in aspergers) has gone. Not by choice, but it has gone. My new routine currently involves getting up, having my breakfast served, trying to do some work online (check out my new healthCHEK and billycraig.co.uk t-shirts), followed by more of the same. Their isn't a lot I can do right now so the days are tending to blur a little.
Got some excitement today after a call from a premiership football club coach wanting to discuss the rapid injury rate (particularly knees). Theirs been a few heated discussions at the club with regard to who or what is going wrong to leave them with such a sick list. Despite my present condition, I am kind of an expert in injury prevention (things happened to me which I couldn't control) so he was interested on my take on it from a physical and nutritional viewpoint. Its always good to see multimillion pound football clubs reaching out to understand things a little more broadly. This particular coach has consistently tried to implement my suggestions but constantly feels as though he's hitting a brick wall.
Seems "what would Billy say?" is taking of. Its something my clients have all asked themselves and each other over the last decade. So I'm going with it! T-shirts are proving popular so expect to see all the cool kids wearing one soon.
